We are a small, independent press publishing books and other materials on topics related to radical Christian discipleship. We understand radical Christian discipleship literally as a faith that actively and intentionally remembers its roots ("radical" comes from the Latin word "radix" meaning root). Thus, the history of God's people is a primary — but not exclusive — theme of our press, and particularly the history of the earliest followers of Jesus, as well as that of groups that looked to the earliest Church as a paradigm for Christian community. Radical Christian discipleship, as we understand it, is characterized by both a socially prophetic, counter-cultural stance — embodied by communities committed to following the example of Jesus in the midst of the world's culture of death — and a radical re-examination of what it means to be a community of Christ's followers.

We have just completed a major overhaul of our website. We have migrated our catalog over to a database-driven "store" format, which will make it easier for us to add new books and for you to browse and search our inventory.

Our catalog contains items from our press, as well as other resources that we have found beneficial. Check back regularly as we will be adding a ton of new books over the next few months!

THE HOLY EARTH - by Liberty Hyde Bailey We have just released a new edition of Liberty Hyde Bailey's classic book, THE HOLY EARTH. This book has been praised by many environmentalists, including Wendell Berry!

The foreword for our edition was written by Ragan Sutterfield, a farmer and writer, who will be the main speaker for the Godspeed the Plough! conference...

We have also released an e-book edition of Jarrod Cochran's FINDING JESUS OUTSIDE THE BOX.
